ChK ROOTS
This is a short story about a large family… our family.
This journey started 11 years ago when we were in the quest of a perfect spot for practicing our favorite sports, specially kitesurf. At first there were many skipped classes from school and eventually, this search became equally important for all members of a family of 4: Alfred, Martica, Nico and Juan.
With some help provided we discovered a hidden gem located in the Andean mountains, in front of a lake and surrounded by the most incredible nature. That’s when CHIVORKITE was born, a family business whose core was sharing what we liked the most with the rest of the world.
CHIVORKITE started as a small campsite where sports enthusiasts gathered. Every night we used to share our daily adventures in a communal dinner where a lot of friendships were made. That place became a home for many and made our family grew as we never imagined.
After many years we identified what really made our blood flow: SHARING our PASSIONS! At first it was watersports, then mountain bike and hikes, and suddenly we realized our lifestyle was about being active, eating real and healthy food and off course, enjoying the play time!
In the last couple of years, we shared with many people from different nationalities, and we realized there was a rapid change in people’s lifestyles. With our conclusions we came to believe this:
It is possible to stay in paradise while living your life to the fullest.
That belief became a common dream when amazing people joined our passion, later, that dream became a plan and now we are glad to introduce to you BREES Santa Verónica. It is located on the Caribbean beach and is designed to allow people to live in paradise and still be able to meet friends, to work in an environment that promotes performance, to practice sports, train and eat healthy food without worrying about domestic chores. It’s about enjoying experiences. New friends allowed!

With modern minimalist design, BREES was created based on a design thinking process understanding the requirements of people who work remotely, enjoy sharing with people from different backgrounds and are looking for a healthy lifestyle both in activities and diet.

House Rules
Check in at at 3 p.m. daily with checkout at noon. Please check in at the front desk upon arrival - if you check in early, we are happy to hold your bags while you start exploring the area. Most of us are sport enthusiasts so we like to sleep early. No loud music in rooms or common areas. We have implemented extra sanitization, ask our guests to practice social distancing, and we have changed our breakfast menu. We ask that guests to please be fever free for 14 days.
